Description

The DCL modulating type electric actuator adopts a fully potted resin-encapsulated control pack design. For intrusive electric actuators, a fully potted control pack offers superior reliability and safety compared to an exposed control board. Without potting protection, the electronic components on the board are easily damaged or shorted due to accidental contact during wiring or inspection, leading to a higher failure rate of both the control board and the actuator.

In addition, the resin encapsulation provides excellent protection in harsh environments, such as high humidity or strong vibration during transportation. It also offers effective electromagnetic shielding, enhancing the actuator’s resistance to interference.

Our control pack has passed stringent EMC and reliability tests, including:

• Surge test: 2500 V

• EFT (Electrical Fast Transient) test: 4000 V

• ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) test: 4000 V

• 85/85 endurance test: Continuous operation at 85 °C and 85% relative humidity for over 600 hours with stable performance

The actuator has successfully passed comprehensive EMC tests (EFT, ESD, and surge) and is CSA certified, fully compliant with UL and CSA standards.
